He's sullen and moody throughout this scene, but in response to this, he looks faintly curious and taken aback. Now, it might be an acting choice of JP's that shouldn't be overly read into, but it's also possibly an indication of a history of Dean anger that Sam had either never realized before or never heard confessed before. Opinions?
