Ok two questions:

1.) Learn Chinese or Italian?

2.) Study abroad somewhere productive in terms of career goals (Ex: China) or def. fun (Ex: Australia or Europe)?

italian. chinese will be of NO use no matter what anyone says. my cousin has a degree in japanese. he does nothing with it.

go to europe. you'd stick out like a sore thumb in china. they'd kill you. chop yo up. sell you at one of those open air markets. you'll end up in a dog stew. hopefully they will kill you before they dismember you. and what if there were another tsumani, and it happened to hit mainland china? you never know with those asians.

I agree.

Italian and Europe.

That's my plan. Italy is AMAZING and I'm dying to go back.

I definetly suggest you do the Italian route.

Australia! I wanna go to Australia, that would be AWESOME. The guild in EQ2 I joined uses a voice chat called ventrilo, this one dude is from Australia, god, I LOVE the accent. I told him to talk to me last night before I went to bed cause it was so friggin awesome, the other people in the room were like "yeah, sing her a lullaby" and he sang "rock-a-bye baby" and I nearly fell off my chair. It was hilarious. Yeah, so anyway, go to Australia, aquire an accent, then come back to America and be a chick-magnet.

When I go to college, I want to/am planning on learning Japanese.

But I'd go to Europe.
