    Yesterday I got up late, went to the grocery store about 2 or so when it became apparent that we were about to get rained on.  Drove through the rain to the store, waded through it in and out.  By the time I got home, except for the odd rumble of thunder, it was pretty much done.  Ha ha, big joke on Sargon.  Several trips to the car to get all

(transfer from Naamah's journal ;)) Something similar happened to me once- I have a 3rd floor walk up with metal stairs and in the first major storm in our aprtment we went out to watch the lightning. less than 10 minutes after we went in, lightnig struck the house. Everyone's hair was staticked, all the appliances shut off and our poor wiring has never been the same. I am still scared to go up the stairs durring a storm.
