guys, its 12:42 and i should be sleeping (even though its a saturday night) because i have to get up at 7 tomorrow, because i am driving to new haven to watch austin swim at his championship meet. I am not asleep for the following reasons

I really do know what you mean about the boyfriend looking like a lazy bum. I'm dealing with a bit of the same thing myself but on a different level, because even though he's heading back to school this semester to (hopefully soon) finish up his degree, Andrew has basically spent the last five months sitting at home doing nothing and then complaining about how he's bored and had nothing to do. Meanwhile, I'm freezing to death on the other coast and working my weekends away for a little extra cash and then, when I was home, he actually said "we should probably stop eating dinner out together for a while, it's becoming an expensive habit." It's like the thought of working anywhere part time hasn't occurred to him at all. I keep trying to get him to want to do something for himself and for his resume, but he can't seem to connect the "doing something" with "stopping boredom." At least yours has an excuse for not making money, I'm afraid mine's slowly becoming a bump on a log and it scares the shit out of me.
