Are you kidding me? Gore or Lieberman would be HUGELY better than Bush! Bush is the worst thing that has ever happened to this country in my lifetime!!! NOBODY could be worse than Bush right now!

gotta agree with sarah on this one. The things Bush has done to this country in the last four years have been utterly appaling, and he'll be even worse in the next years because he'll know he doesn't have to worry about being reelected. The only person I could think of being worse would be a fundamentalist dictator.

Look on the bright side: I doubt he'll have any impact whatsoever on the upcoming election. NO ONE is going to listen to him--progressives learned their lesson (I hope) and will (again, hopefully) focus on unifying to defeat the monkey.

Third parties are great in concept, but honestly? I don't give a fuck about that this year. We need to focus on just getting that bastard out of office.

no offense taken. in my opinion the whole Westernized world and the World in general have gone to shit. its all about money and not about the people. what happened to the good old humanitarian viewpoint? oh well. long live nichi and the existnetialists.

This is true. Things have gone to hell in America because the attitude is all me, me, me, I, I, I... I want a big car for MY family... I want our company to pollute the oceans... I don't care about recycling, it's easier for ME to throw MY soup cans in the garbage instead of walking two feet to the recycling bin...

Argh. At least that's how I see it.

BTW, I think it is interesting that people are really starting to hate the two-party system. Remember Isabelle, Clea? She says Gore would have been just as bad as Bush! And this is uber-liberal ISABELLE talking! I was definitely surprised.

That still does not mean I like Nader, tho.

I don't think Nader is going to have any effect on the election at all; almost everyone will have learned not to vote for him this year and the idiots who would vote for him during an election like this probably would have voted for the Socialist Hippie party or Legalize Marijuana party if he wasn't around. (Bush will probably win anyway, sadly enough, but not for that reason. He'll probably just rig the ballots again.)
