That guy needs a slap for being a snot to you about the job. If they've filled it then it shouldn't be hard for him to be honest with you.
I've had a strange desire to write lately myself. My problem is I always have a ton of story ideas floating in my head but I haven't been able to do any serious writing since high school. Maybe once my fanfic is done I'll get to it. I made an attempt the other night but got distracted by other things.
