I just signed up for nano again tonight. I know I won last year and everything -- and I am in possession of a bad novel, in sore need of editing, but I want to do it again. I don't think I can make it this year -- I just don't have the speech recognition software or fast typing sills and less time to do it in...but I wanna try. Nano last year was ( Read more... )

I know you were so busy last year, but...if it makes you happy, do it. Also, hearhersilence, an LJ user loves to write, and you might want to friend her as well, and let her know about this.

Yeah, go right ahead and friend me.

Nano is awesome...its a challenge to write 50k words in the month of november. You need to turn off your inner editor aqnd just write. I had a story in mind and wrote that last year. I still haven't got around to the big edit, but I have a manuscript, that could be workable.

Its quanity over quality, but quality can shine through. But it was mainly taught me just sitting down and writing is beneficial and a good way for me to vent.
