One of my favorite things about "She Tells Him" is your repetition at the end of each section. It's perfect. And, of course, the section with Stef. I think that actually came from a fic of Geena's, when Augusto and Flavia take the kids on a picnic?
And ahh, "Rules". Oh, Maria. This is just...her. It's the basis for every other fic about her, really.
It's the same park from Kodak, yeah. We were talking about it, and this line: Augusto lays down, pulling Flavia across him, and they spend over an hour watching Isabella explain every rock and stick she finds to her younger brother.
It really is. It's pretty much her defining piece.
She Tells Him broke my heart the first time I read it, for pretty much all of these reasons. I think especially Stefano's sections; knowing that Is just doesn't know if she can ever speak to her brother again, and then when she can, it made me cry.
The second one is just awesome. Maria, you are amazing. And creepy. And amazing.
