Rogue Jack & the Queen of the Fae precipitating the fall of kingdom: why am I not surprised. & I kinda wondered if we'd seen the last of the Faeries.

Give it up; you can't do innocent.

Well, a pretty, slutty, runaway Spartan wife brought down Troy, I'd think a pretty, even more slutty, ex-Time Agent con man would bring down Camelot even more easily.

cliffhanger... and I am SO hoping that Ianto will return even knowing that I really shouldn't.

But it was a very intriguing way to bring back the Fairies. I am looking forward to reading what they have left behind :)

*goes of to read Epilogue: Part 2*

The very frightening thing about this series, was that it could have ended before the Epilogue and I would have felt it complete. I'd have still been crying like a baby, but nearly laughing with that odd sorrow/joy thing that Ianto couldn't understand us women doing at the last line. So perfect - we're all shades of Ianto. I love how you wove this into the events onscreen, yet it diverged when it needed to. Loved Avalon and suspected Ianto's dad of being who the Doctor suspected him of being (at least the who part, not the what, because that still makes my head hurt). There was much flailing of hands and lip biting and wiping of tears, and much lack of sleep the past few weeks, but I made it to the end. Loved loved loved how Ianto defeated the dragons in the end. Hated it, knew it was coming, but it was how I'd expect him to act; your writing lead him there, all the experiences from Torchwood One through the Cardiff battle and missing Jack and Mr. Black and Jean-Luc and CAMELOT and Holy Grail references ( ... )

i honestly contemplated ending it without the epilogue. but one of the things that i had always wanted when i first thought "omg, i want to kill ianto!" was "i can't leave him dead!" so, once i figured out how to bring ianto back, i went with the epilogue as sort of ... a story off on it's own.

i'm glad the build up worked for you - i wanted to truly give a complete picture of ianto growing 'into' the hero role, not just, wham-bam he's in charge and hero. i wanted all the backstory, all the growth, all the aches and pains leading to the 'end'.

eehehehe camelot. *g* i <3 king arthur legend, if you couldn't tell. :)

thank you for reading, and thank you for the comments!

I admit to feeling a little sprig of hope begin to grow when the TARDIS began to arrive, thinking that despite his earlier protests to the contrary, the Doctor had somehow managed to save Ianto and was bringing him home. Stupid me.

To say that I was crushed beyond disappointment and disbelief when all the man did was bring a bottle of bloody French wine, that would be an understatement. I'll also admit that I'm not sure if I'm going to finish reading the epilogue or not. What's the point now.
