You are amazing! The entire paragraph describing the feelings and visions the coral evoked was brilliant.
Thanks!

thank you! i so love tosh, i couldn't help but give her a nod in my fic *g* i hope she's focused on a bit this season in torchwood, instead of just ... providing a few comic moments and bailing out the team when the times get tough!

I dont always comment but I love your story, how you weave the two jack's together.

And as soon as he had given jack something i knew it was the whole two years of my life thing

yeeeeeah, that was a bit inevitable, wasn't it? i do hope that the 2 years thing is addressed this season - but at the same time, i kind of don't want it to be addressed so i can keep my little 'verse snuggled close to my heart ;)

thank you, and thanks for reading!

I'll have you know that I was surreptitiously reading this at work, printed it out through to the end in case I couldn't get to a computer to keep reading, and obsessed about WHAT HAPPENS NEXT when I actually had to WORK! This is truly amazing. The characters are generally spot-on, the plot is fantastically complex and believable, and I'm just in awe of your ability to weave such an amazing tale. If I were you, I would seriously consider trying to shop this to the publisher who puts out the Torchwood books - I'm sure they'll say it needs some polishing (and it does, there are some simple typos and such that I was itching to get at) - but this is SO good, SO deft, SO imbued with those rich Ianto colors, that I think you'd have a very good chance of getting this published.

heh - i dunno how the publishing thing would work after being completely jossed w/ s2. i mean - don't get me wrong - that would kick total ass to see SoI in print! but i don't know what kind of a publishing interest there'd be :)

yeah - there are a few things throughout - tiny gaffes in plot, some typos, that one day if/when i get to it, i'll have to fix :) but it just seems like a gi-normous task right now.

pheh work ;)

thank you for your comment, and thanks for reading! it gives me warm fuzzies that you think it could be published *G*

I just wanted to say, before I read any more, before I forget: There's a song by the band Heart called 'Back to Avalon' that has sort of been my staple summer song of late, the sort of roll the windows down and drive really fast with your sunglasses on sort of song. And that song has popped into my head just about every single time I read the word 'Avalon' in this.

Thus, I think I need a new staple summer song. ;-) Other than that, I'm amazed, with this whole great big massive epic that I kept hearing so much about until I finally decided to read more than the first part of the prologue. I've been reading it last night, and today, and damn am I glad I wasn't around when you were posting chapter by chapter - the suspense would have made me insane. But you're amazing, and so is all of this.

hah! i know heart, but i've not heard of that song i don't think - i'll have to look that up.

*chuckles* judge not a fic by its first paragraph? ;)

glad you dropped in and that you're enjoying it! it was a bit on the massive long side by the end, but i had a story to tell ;)

thanks for reading!
