first it's all heart pounding cause she's in danger and then it's all heart pounding cause she's in batman's arms, honestly even thought it's the same guy, i find myself giddy for different reasons when she's with Bruce and when she's Batman.

I'm so thrilled that you're working on this story again! I loved the Ollie and Bruce last chapter and this is such a Chloe reaction to it. And, of course, Lois is right but so outrageous that Chloe can easily discount her input. Loved it.
So, in other news, Chloe does or did have her power? But it's unreliable? That would almost suck more than the mortality effect. (I really hated that they gave Chloe powers and then took them away. But that's the least of the issues I have with Smallville, so don't let me get started.)
I'm impressed with this Chloe's self-control. Even though she has her suspicions about Batman's alter ego, she refrains from snooping and treats them like two people, which they kinda are, just sharing a body.
I enjoyed this terribly much!

I'm pretty sure I checked your page at least three times before I went to bed at two this morning... But it was an excellent surprise to wake up to.

Loved the Chlo/Lo banter and Lois threatening to give Ollie a call, made me giggle. And I totally melted when Batman held Chloe after she got back to her apartment, can't wait to see what happens when she finds out who he really is.

Loved this. Can't wait for more.

I like how their relationship is playing out similarly to traditional Lois/Superman/Clark, although Chloe is smarter and knows enough to think Bruce is a likely possibility to be Batman. I have to say, I was very surprised by that hug. His feelings for her must be stronger than he thought, however, he's playing it out well because Chloe doesn't even see them as serious or exclusive. Finally, continued hints of the Joker, the tension is rising.
