So... I've had Shaw Cable since May, giving me more channels that air shows at different times than usual, and am only now realizing that I could've been watching Smallville 3 hours earlier! Silly Lee!

Anyway... ( Read more... )

I'm with you on this one. I laughed out loud when you mentioned getting sidetracked by Granny's hair being down. I was doing the same thing. I really am starting to enjoy Tess's scenes more. I've always liked the actress that played her but, I just couldn't get over her having been with Ollie. I'm over it now, as long as that ship has sailed, lol. Anyway, like always I enjoyed your review.

I definitely agree with a lot of your review! The opening scene was very horror movie-ish. I was impressed as well.

Hiding the spoon (that's what it was, right?) in the floorboards to get herself out of the room... Smart!
A spoon? I thought it was a key! LOL I guess I have to go rewatch the scene.

I was hoping that Clark would hug Lois too, in their first scene together. Oh well. She got a hug eventually.

Oh. My. Gosh. The whole video - I really applaud Terri Hatcher for such an emotional performance. It wasn't even that long, but she put such depth into it that even I was getting teary-eyed.
Same here! I was getting all sniffly and her video, as well as Lois's reactions just managed to break my heart. Erica does a great job with sad scenes ... she never fails to get me to empathize with her.

I did however, totally love her and Fox together, at least when he was played by Justin Hartley, hahaI only checked out Passions after Justin came on Smallville but you too? I totally shipped Fox and Theresa. I thought they were way more ( ... )

what i'm confused about is why Lionel waited so long to bring Tess to the orphanage. If she was living with the Luthor's then Lex would have known that he had a sister, since he didn't then she probubly lived with her mother. so why did she let Lionel take her daughter to the orphanage?

I so thought of the theme song. You're not alone.

I also so see something between Clark and Tess. I think it is mostly one-sided on Tess's side but TW seems to have better chemistry/work off of other actresses better than others. This isn't a slam to ED but one of the reasons I've never warmed to Clois is because their chemistry has always felt off.

You're part of my team now..." WTH. I'm sorry... I've always thought of it more as Oliver and Chloe's team

Yeah so not the only one who thinks that. It's not just that it's Ollie and Chloe's team, which is so is, but that Clark doesn't work with them unless he has to. He has from the very beginning been not wanted to play with others so that he now proclaims to have a team is laughable.

""You're part of my team now..." WTH. I'm sorry...I've always thought of it more as Oliver and Chloe's team"

I think that when Clark said that, he meant it as more of the same side, and not so much as THE team. As in everyone believed that Tess was playing for the baddies, but now she's proved herself as one of the good guys. At least that's how I'm choosing to look at it, because if Tess and Clark start looking at the team as their's, I'm going to kill someone.
