Good morning!

Even if it's not morning when you read this, I think you should have a good morning.

So I went to Ikea for the first time yesterday. Whoa. I simultaneously liked it a lot and never, ever want to go back. I liked a lot of their furniture (even if I can't afford 90% of it) and I thought the store was set up in a way that was conducive ( Read more... )

RE: Ikea

OMG. Totally know what you're talking about. I went to one for the first time too, and I found it rather creepy that they were advertising meatballs in their bedding sections. It was like Wal-Mart from Sweden. Very creepy, "Its a Small World" vibe they've got going.

Oh, I know just how you feel about Ikea. Their stores are so exhausting! Like... they have them laid out so you have to go past practically EVERY SINGLE SECTION of the entire store before you get to the checkout! But the stuff you see along the way is very cool and stylish. I don't know if I am more irritated or impressed by this marketing strategy.

I would volunteer to be your news source at UC Berkeley, but I kind of make a point of ignoring pretty much everything that goes on here that might be 'newsworthy.' :/ Sorry.

P.S. Scantily-clad women are not classy, but there aren't really any posters designed for a college dorm that are. Also I wouldn't worry so much about what your parents think, but that's just me.
