well, I think it is, from a personal perspective, you know if say, someone wanted to see your street, but in responce and prevention of terrorism, I doubt it would make much of a difference anyway, I mean if someone REALLY wanted to attach, they wouldn't use GoogleEarth.
Did you mean attack ? Yes, that was my point, I find the entire idea of the Indian government trying to prevent people from seeing aerial views of airports etc a bit funny. Terrorist attacks are not mounted that way.
If you meant "attach", that is really interesting in a poetic way. Imagine attaching yourself to the world and its distant communities by way of Google Earth.
Are you saying that it's the Nepalis and Bangladeshis we should be scared of? You frame your overall argument too simplistically. There is a very real threat of terrorism through airports after 9/11 and this cannot be denied. National security is an important concern for India as it is for all countries and terrorists today are not dumb. They are intelligent and know how to use technology. And besides, the real terrorists we should be scared of are not eastern european, but muslims. --Ananth Rishi
