I get the whole thing about why certain people dislike Jane and her war protests, but it was still kind of weird. Mostly because I was trying to think of which Jane Fonda-related merchandise and/or services I was meant to be avoiding.

Yeah -- especially since she's since become "born again" and has been sidling up to (or at least trying to sidle up to) the "Christian right."

Then again, one guy a couple of blocks away flies his "POW/MIA" flag for several months out of the year; there is a contingent of people for whom time does not march ever onward.
