ok...T-minus 3 days before i come back to birmingham. This morning I lugged half of my earthly possessions to haley center parking bc mel is closed and i wanted to get a jump on packing...it took a good 90 minutes, lots of sweating, a few spills and a pulled back muscle. Then I went and got lunch, and went to the store to buy my mom a card to go

City Stages is June 18, 19, & 20. Friday night, Fountains of Wayne, Fuel, and Live are playing ( I will be front row and center) and Saturday Switchfoot and Lynerd Skynard are playing. Ruben is singing on Sunday. Wow sounds awesome this year. Ok lets go!!! Im ready!

Dont forget about the truly great bands like Drive-By-Truckers and Chris Robinson & the New Earth Mud. You must see these bands quite possible the 2 best bands at the festival.

Other quality acts include Ollabelle (blend of gospel, blues, and country), Adam Hood (just another great singer songwriter and his from the Auburn Area, he plays there all the time), The Robert Cray Band (good ol' fashioned Blues influence Rock),Keb' Mo'(incredible modern blues artist), and Marc Broussard (singer/songwriter focused more on the rock side with a bit of soul thrown in).
