i am so disgusted by all the stuff happening in san francisco now!!! and today i read this article in the newspaper titled "Jesus is cool with gay marriage!" where this guy said that Jesus loved gay people, He just doesn't like divorce. yeah ok sure. not that i read the news everyday, i was researching too. :)

i personally don't see why gay marriage should be illegal.

to view it as morally (or religiously) wrong is certainly understandable... but from a constitutional point of view, i don't really see anything that should preclude them from marrying. do i think it is nasty? yeah. but i also think fat people having sex is nasty, and that's legal.

I hate to say it, but you make a good point. Yes I believe it is morally wrong and I personally think it should be illegal, but outside of morality and Biblical arguements, I don't know how much else there is. It disgusts me, but I don't think Mauney is going to buy into a Biblical backing cause she's gay like that. haha no pun intended

it would be tough to incorporate that into a gay marriage paper for two broad reasons.

first of all, that deals with gay sex more than gay marriage.
and secondly, we all know straight people transfer them all too.

but there are still angles you could take. but i would think you have your work cut out for you.

Hmmm yeah, about the gay marriage thing. There really aren't a whole lot of arguments you can make against gay marriage if you believe in separation of church and state. The only thing that is driving the government against gay marriage is the majority that exists of people against it. And why? Many probably just don't want it to become a widely, culturally accepted thing. Parents, for example, probably fear it because they don't want their kids to be gay.

Guess I'm stating the obvious, but yeah.
