I don't know if anybody reading this is a fan of Ellen Kushner's novel Swordspoint, but I wanted to mention that I just found out that there's a new sequel, Privilege of the Sword. I suspect you beat me to it because my primary method of finding out these things is by wandering through bookstores, and I haven't done much of it lately. :-)

i'm glad to hear it's good. i am waiting to pick it up until i can reclaim my copy of swordspoint from my mom's attic. happily, i found a copy of 'the fall of kings' (which fits in... somewhere) at a used bookstore recently, so once reclaiming (and shopping) is done, i can devour all three in great haste and joy. =D
