It could be pork on Fridays and fish on the Sabbath

It's big bang day, woo!

I had a really wonderful experience this year. I got to work with sylvanwitch and she is so sweet, and talented, and supportive, and on top of things, I just love her ♥ She made working on big bang this year an absolute delight!

So, here's the story info:

Title: A Wolf of the Deserts
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17
Summary:

A devil's wind blows all the time across the plains of southwestern Kansas. It's 1898, and Dean Winchester is fixing to become the next minister of the Sweetbranch Irregular Baptist Church as soon as his grandfather, the Reverend John Winchester, passes away of the lingering illness that's slowly taking his strength. Sam, sixteen and sullen, resents the small town he grew up in, rejects his grandfather's preaching ways, and yearns for something Dean isn't sure he can give his little brother--not without sacrificing their immortal souls.

When Sam rescues the mysterious boy, Lucas Volkov, from enslavement to a traveling medicine show, he thinks he's welcoming a worldly new friend. But like his namesake, the wolf, Volkov stalks Sweetbranch with patience and grace, taking what he wants and leaving behind only sorrow.

Can Dean resist temptation and save his brother and himself, or will they both be destroyed by the wolf or by the desires the wolf raises in them?

Please go read it and tell Amy how great she is! But do read the story warnings first.

I made more stuff this year then ever before, I'm actually pretty proud of myself, haha. I finally bought myself a tablet somewhere in the middle of this process and have been trying to teach myself how to make digital art. It's been frustrating at times but so incredibly fun! I have a feeling this journal might start being a bit more active :D

I nit-picked this piece until I couldn't stand to look at it anymore... but I think I actually like it again today :)

There were a few more scenes that I really wanted to do, but I ran out of time :( I swear I must have drawn Sam and Dean sitting under the praying tree about 20 times! It would not cooperate. But if I finish something else up, I'll add it in later.

And also I'd like to say thank you spn-j2-bigbang mods for making it possible for me to play like this every summer!
