First... I'd like to say I'm ok. Bruised but ok. Next....

I flipped my husbands truck today on the way into town.
Basically I was passing someone, not accelerating, not swerving and hit a piece of ice. The truck swung widely to the left, then back to the right and then skidded across the lane into the ditch. I had a moment to think "Fuck! I'm gonna ( Read more... )

It's scares me too. When I first got out of the truck and made it to the road side I turned and looked at it and had a moment of "Holy crap!". Funny, because I'd just been IN the truck, but it was different seeing it.

OMG! I saw your entry first now. Thank god, you're alright! Looks like you had incredibly much luck... or a guardian angel or I don't know what. I'm glad you and your dog got help immediately and were able to come out of it alive and more or less safe and sound. *hugs*

The interesting thing is the exact same day I got a package from my aunt. She'd sent me a small crocheted angel that my grandma had made. She wrote that losing her was hard, but that we all had a guardian angel. Apparently she's right. :)
