 There is a sadness visiting a place you once called home. Some of it you expect. Seeing what happened to a home you cared for, buildings gone and new, roads changed, unfamiliar faces in places you once frequented

yeah, emc, it makes me tear up, too. i guess it's because we all know this feeling - from high school, from home towns, from jobs left, from all aspects of life - so not only do you feel for s2k's sadness (and any part you may have played in it) you also recall your own sadness, too.
