Oh, now THIS I had to steal.

I tend toward a selection of finely tuned crap from all eras, but yes... *sigh* yes, they did.

How did you grey them? I wanna do this even though I don't recognize half of those songs. And I can handily steal the list from you :)

This is a little light, but I went with < font color=#cccccc > blahblah < /font >.

Heh - just make sure to take out all my commentary. I can't get through a meme without commentary. :P

Gah! Bad Firefox! No treat for you! This time in the right place...

You can also do it with color="gray" or several other different color names that html recognizes. I'm lazy and don't like looking up the color codes. :P

Man, they haven't entered 2004 into their registry yet, that sucks. =/ However your list brings back a lot of nostaligia for me! It was when I was 9-10 (95) that I really started getting into music and a lot of this was what I listened to! XD I could always go by year I graduated the 8th grade, or the year I was born. . . Hmm, interestng meme.

99. Misery, Soul Asylum [how do I not remember this? I remember Soul Asylum. This is right up my alley. I'd probably remember it if I heard it.]

~% We could build a factory, and make misery
We'll create the cure, we made the disease
Frus-tra-ted, Incorporated %~

Fairly easy for me to remember because of the Weird Al parody of it.... that and I own the single. -_-;;
