One person got it and told me so. ;) That seems about right to me--if nobody had guessed I'd feel like I hadn't laid any breadcrumbs and cheated my readers.

That said, I am always happy to surprise!

England's given me shirtless Richard Armitage, it's great. ;)

Glad to surprise!

I did have an inkling that the mean medic who wouldn't give her name wouldn't because it was significant somehow but I was hoping I would be wrong about why :( Not because I'm not excited about Elliot's mom and all, but I just hate seeing Elliot hurt so much (and yes, I'm pretty sure that means I'm reading the wrong author lol) and I think this is going to really bring the pain.

In other news, I teared up twice at this part, possibly due to emotional compromise from seeing If I Stay earlier and crying my eyes out, but also just over Michael Sunborn being the greatest dad (and best blackmail-er) ever and over Luke and Serene's epic friendship :) That part was also painful for Elliot which kind of sucked, but worth it for the culture-defying, life-changing relationship being strictly platonic :)

I must disagree with you on one thing. Gregory Sunborn will always be The Sunborn of This Chapter in my heart. More Gregory! The people demand it!

Ahhhhhh Elliot!!! I don't see how he can stop all wars forever all by himself but I really, really want that for him because HE wants it so bad. Poor baby.

Elliot does take a lot on himself, but then that happens when you are not used to anyone sharing burdens--and it means he doesn't know how to share 'em himself and ends up playing a game of slapping hands and going 'for god's sake let me do it' about the peaceful governance of a war-torn land. ;)
