That. Was. Awesome! (and please note those are the short sentences of "stunned of awesome," NOT the short sentences of evil hypnosis!... I think...)

I feel torn between the urge to go find this book, and the fear that it cannot possibly be as awesome as the Gothic Tuesday version...

This book sounds so amazingly cracked. It is good to see the female taking such an active role and getting stuff done. I think my fave part of this write-up was the "back when you're legal" medallion.

Thanks for telling us about this one. Haha! XD "Snow leopard powers activate!" indeed...

As my name is Brenchley, I used to find myself often cheek-by-jowl with Madeleine Brent on library shelves. If I'd known at the time that she was Peter O'Donnell, I'd have read them all; I love Modesty Blaise with a passion. Alas, I didn't find out till later; so they only served as a sort of competition-marker: she's got three books on the shelf, and I've got four. I'm doing better!*

*Not necessarily so, O my younger idiotic self: the point of a library is to lend books, remember...?

That book sounds... truly amazing. Now I'm having fantasies of a BBC miniseries and it's going nowhere good (though probably awesome).

By the way you were amazing at the book talk thing (in Tulsa)! If for some reason you ever did your own audio books, I would buy all of them, you're a really amazing speaker. :D (I was the one who got her Kindle signed. >.>)

Omg! I have those books in my box of battered romances, you know, the one my husband doesn't understand why I won't throw them all out since, obviously, they are 'just fluff' and I'm never gonna read them again. No wonder I love everything I've read of yours! We have the same literary genesis!
