Team Star!

Team Human's publication is really coming up fast... in a month and four days, on July 3rd, to be precise, and yes I might be counting the days...

I was so happy to receive the news--from a writer friend, meaning I got to tell my publisher and co-writer, so I felt fancy--that I have my very first Publisher's Weekly starred review. Behold it!

Congratulations on the two good reviews!! That's wonderful. ^^ I'm certainly excited to see your take on vampire/human relations, particularly since you wrote it with Ms. Larbalestier, whose works I also enjoy. Yay!

I am so glad you're excited! As a longtime vampire fan (see also, my endless talking about the Vampire Diaries) it was very fun to noodle about in vampirelandia. ;)

Those reviews make me even more excited to read it! It sounds like you two do good things with the whole "vampires" idea.

Since I apparently like to torture myself, I want to buy the Australian version of the book...do you know of anywhere I might be able to pre-order that version?

Congratulations on the glowing reviews! Both Team Human and Unspoken already have holds in my library system (which I am very excited about because I ordered them ages ago and they've only just been made available in our catalogue).

I also happen to know that our local kids' bookstore will be talking about both books in their presentation to the library in July, which means all the Children's Librarians in my system will hear of your fabulousness (from someone other than me who they sometimes ignore because my book reviews usually start, "So, the death count in this one is fantastic!").

Ahem, all this to say that you are wonderful and your books are wonderful and I am very excited for both releases :)

Mmm, double stars! Congratulations and good luck and so forth...

(But honestly, "cohabitate"? Really, VOYA? Really...?)

Eeeek, thank you so much for telling me. ;) And for ordering them.

I too love a death count... but maybe I should keep mum about such things!
