OK, better comment now - first off, thank you, this really was a surprise, and what a brilliant one. It had completely slipped my mind that it was nearly first chapter time of year. Wow, I can't believe just when you have managed to establish a pattern it's the last Demon book already. I hope you get (have?) a publishing deal for whatever else you are writing (girl/zombie romance??) so long may it continue

Heh, hopefully I will have book news for you all on that front soon. (Girl/zombie romance short story is coming out soon, but is a short story. :))

I already took a bit of a risk with my first chapter being a flashback (alas, all I do are strange and risky things!) so no, no more flashbacks. Lots going on in the present!

Parents are greatly at risk in this series, since I am going for strong sibling bonds and 'orphans in the storm clinging together', and it is a dark and dangerous world... but I would like to see more parents with big proper roles in YA. (Annabel was one, and only died when her daughter's POV book was done, but she did still die!) Sin's mother was dead from book one, of course, but in book one I didn't know I was going to kill Annabel. So I'm keeping that in mind for the future.
