Oh, this was amazing to read! Chilling and moving, and I love Karen's narrative voice. Brrr, it's given me creepy shivers.

I am so glad you like it! And I believe there are no current plans to release it in hardback - but if it was a big success they might, so here's me hoping. ;)

Oh, oh wow. This is so--I keep getting more and more attached to this world, to the little bits of it you've put together. Because it feels like much more than a story, the way we're getting more people and more lives and more of a sense of how this world is different than ours. Ah, I am making no sense, but I just reread your book two weeks ago in the middle of MA thesis time (my priorities are the best priorities), and I liked it even more this time. You've really put together something amazing.

Oh wow, that was terrifying and heartbreaking and amazing! I loved Emily, she is such a fantastic, fully drawn character and seeing Nick and Alan through her eyes was wonderful to behold. Her first impression was especially perceptive.

What a brilliant story, it's got me excited for May all over again!

It's hard to pick out parts that I particularly liked, it's all so good, but there was one bit which I particularly loved -

“Once again, you get to have all the fun,” he said.

“Fun?” Karen whispered.

It absolutely slayed me. This poor broken woman, her life and her home and her friend completely destroyed and it's the worst possible thing, and Nick and Alan come swinging in all banter-y because it's part of their lives. And of course, it highlights the difference between Nick and non-crazy people.

Fabulous, thanks so much!
