Amazing
I have such sympathy for Gerald now (and even Arthur) and its a totally different Alan - he's the golden boy - how hard being crippled must have been for him

Oh and congrats on the increase in sales - though that might have more to do with a hard-working author and book tours and comic-con.

and finally, my request for any possible authorfic are:
a) some of the edited out segments from the story - because I think it would be insightful into your creative process an suspect there are things you loved but had to cut to ease story flow
or
b) Alan and 3 (a nice lucky number) of his previous crushes - which should enable us to see trends. Its also something that should be minimum spoilery (else I would be asking about Natasha and/or Marie or Sin and/or Merris

Gerald!!!!!

I have been waiting for this and it is completely worth it. I love how the power is like a rush that he just gets for the sake of it.
I suppose it's too much to hope for a part 3 (:

Ooh. I never liked Gerald before, but I'm getting attached to him now. I once asked if he was bald, you know. The chatroom reacted...not well.

This is what happens when one reads books in bookshops. ;)

...Whoa, how'd you figure *that* out? I am in awe by your mind-reading skills. Good thing is that my friend is giving TDL once school starts. One bright spot in the approaching doom. (And it means I won't get shrieks of outrage when I ask questions like that) Linked: http://eternal-vows.livejournal.com/21096.html *cough* (I was being my usual weird self...)

Thank you so much for this!

I love your writing, I finally got my hands on a copy of TDL not so long ago, and this has made my night :)

This really brightened my day. I love insight into characters even if it's an offshoot of the main plot. Gerald's perspective on Arthur was particularly fascinating. Thanks for sharing, and congrats in the increase in sales!
