Oh my GOD.

Like, no. I mean.

Oh. My. Frigging. GAWD.

This set-up is RIDIC. And by that, I mean brilliant, obviously. What makes this so amazing is that you've included plenty of canon in this to make it feel real, yet formed a completely believable AU way for them to have met. And the way you are always able to weave words into emotions shines through here. The moment their eyes meet... I think even I was holding my breath.

I will be needing this fic to continue sooner rather than later, just so you know.

Thanks Nic!
This was supposed to be a one-shot which was to end when Noah heard Reid's voice. It seems to have morphed, however, into something a little bit more.
I will try to update sooner rather than later...just for you :)

And fuck me, I was in the throes of such utter fic flail that I completely forgot to mention the spectacular art. LOVE. Especially the way they're looking at each other.

Tell the kid he did good. Very, very ood.

Sarah...once again you write with such emotion or provoke such emotion from us. I loved the Nurse drooling over Noah lol

Poor Noah having to hide....his Dad seems so nasty to him sadly :-(

So glad Noah remembers a happy time when he met a boy called Reid in the park.

Loved it Sarah...so damn good...and can't wait to read more!

Nathan did an awesome job on the Banner also...I love it! xxx

Thank you, Louise.
As usual, this didn't quite go the way it started out in my head...and who knows where it'll end?? But I promise to keep it going...fingers crossed!! :)

He was speared in place, the feeling that this strange boy was delving into him with his eyes and seeing everything that Noah so carefully kept hidden was strong. He couldn’t hide from those eyes; they saw right through him. And just as suddenly, Noah realised what it was that he could see staring back at him; the boy was hiding, too. In just those few brief moments before he turned back to the game, Noah understood exactly what had passed between them; it was recognition.

That was deep Sarah, really deep. And I can't wait for more, that flowed perfectly. There wasn't even any Reid yet, but he was all over it. Nicely done.

And I hope more comes soon. And yes that artwork is good, the kid deserves something.

Thanks, Arsena.
You know, I realised while I was writing this that I have quite the fetish for the meeting of eyes and shared understanding.
Who knew?

And I give Nathan respect...and ice cream. I think that's enough! :)

Thanks, Stella!
I always love the whole shared understanding without saying anything ploy - which you may have noticed before!!
And I passed on your comment to Nathan. He may expect more than respect and ice cream if this carries on!! :)
