The Cook Islands - Aitutaki recap and pictures!

As we flew into Aitutaki we were amazed by its beauty! We thought Rarotonga was beautiful - Aitutaki was even better!  The lagoon is much larger and the water was way bluer.  Unfortunately as we were arriving a huge storm was coming through - which luckily passed within a few hours and then it was pure blue sky and sun for the rest of the Aitutaki ( Read more... )

Oh Sarah I love the pictures and especially loe the kissy one... to cute! I'm so glad you guys loved it so much and selfishly I wish you'd post a million pictures because it brings me right back. We felt the same way about wishing we had more time on Aitutaki. Heaven on Earth isn't it? ;o) Happy anniversary, crazy that it's already been 3 years huh?

I figured you of all people would be able to truly appreciate all the gazillion pictures:) Thanks for sharing in the excitement with me. I would love to see your pictures again!

Bummer!!!! That is actually our anniversary date:) The tide kept ruining it though so its not the greatest picture, but it works!

aww....I feel relaxed just reading the recap! What an amazing vacation - patrick even got to go fishin! I'm going to have to add Cook Islands to my list of places to eventually visit!

He was soooo excited to fish there, especially since there are so many more varieties of fish down there.

We had a great time! I was so amazed by the water. The clearest and bluest I had ever seen.
