An Announcement
We have a new member of our family! Yes, I found a dog! He's a beagle/shepherd mix and his name is Luv ^_^. The hubby wants to change it, but I'm not really thinking of other names XD...I said we could always name him GACKT, and was shot down XD. But, he already comes to Luv, so he knows his name. We got him at the county animal shelter for $

Oh! He made his first sound to me. After we had come back in, I decided to lay down for a bit, so I put him in his crate, and closed the door. Well, he whined for me ^_^ <3. So I opened the door for him, and actually after getting some more loving from me, he went back into his crate and proceeded to chew upon one of the raw hide bones I got for him ^_^. He's a good boy!

as for the chewing... you may wanna put Styrofoam or something around the legs of your furniture O_O;
I'm sure there's a better method, I'm kinda rushing to read through my f-list before i go out to the lake (my cousins have come over~~~ <3)
I'll ask my mom if she knows how to keep dogs from doing that D: (in case he starts)
but, really, that is so awesome!!!! <3 yay!

(and getting a house broken one is really good XD yay for no peeing in the house)

If you're with her a lot ,and she's started chewing things, put some coins in a tin can (with the top closed off with tape or something) and shake it up when he starts. Or use a spray bottle
Keep doing this, and eventually he'll associate chewing things with something bad. ^^
