"She then massaged my shoulders for a while without saying anything.  "They're stiff, aren't they?", I asked.  "They're rock-solid", she replied.  We didn't talk all that much, but this eased my heart a whole lot.  Just a little thing like this lifts up my heart so much.  I guess parents seek moments like this with their children.  Without meaning

Well, I'm leaving you a comment here, though I've likely just given myself away. I'm your OGYD Secret Santa. I just wanted to let you know that you have in no way been forgotten about. I came down with really bad flu and haven't been able to leave bed for awhile. However, I am moving again and your gift will be in the mail.
