Crackpoll, yay!

Jan 10, 2008 09:41

There is a certain fan theory making the rounds that recently popped up in a conversation on greenbubblewrap as an example of a nu!Who subject that would be off topic. Of course people immediately started talking about wanting to discuss it.

So I brought it over here in the spirit of nonbiased skientific inquiry.

Several crackpolls beneath the cut )

sja, canon crack, sarah/doctor, poll

I'm tempted to vote "You've totally lost it, haven't you?" just to tease...

In actual fact (boringly) I have no views - I've not given it any thought at all... But I shall follow this discussion with amusement and interest (and a bucket of salt... :D)

I think an ocean of salt is involved here. ;)

And there was a reason I give the option of insanity....

One Dead Sea coming up ! :D

I know - but the thing is, it's actually quite possible - 'cos Who is that cracky !

Perhaps I'll vote later on a strictly unthought-out spur-of-the-moment basis...

That works for me.

I made the polls impulsively after it came up as off-topic on greenbubblewrap, so lack of thought is completely in keeping with the spirit of the poll.

The Eleventh Doctor says it's NOT HER FAULT.

However, that crackplot I had a while back about her being pregnant suddenly has a new layer of cracky WTF awesome.

For the purpose of this poll, I will happily pretend I support the 'Luke is SJ and the Doctor's biological child'
Hookay.

In my mind, the Timelords created him as part of a scientific research project and just used 'random' DNA. Then the Time War comes around and Luke is fobwatched and is sent to Earth to live with Sarah just before Gallifrey goes boom. Unfornuately, the Bane intercepted his ship, hooked him up to some wires and started growing him...

Then some time later, Invasion of the Bane happens and what have you.

However, the fobwatched was destoyed as human life is the only life Luke will ever know, so there is no point of turning back into a TimeLord.

But of course, that just goes aganist my personal canon.

Pretending is good. :)

Crack theories like this are better.

This has been a great distraction from my revision :) I love the idea that the Doctor and Sarah are Lukes biological parents.

I personally believed that Sarah Jane actually is the Eleventh or Twelfth Doctor (only chameleon arched) so actually the Doctor is Luke's mum :D

But surely the whole time Sarah was travelling with Three and Four and met up with Ten, she was crossing her own timestream and that's a paradox and what have you.

Although, it would partly explain how she built a Cloudbusting machine and built Mr Smith into her attic (yet she couldn't repair K9...)

Shush. Stop all that logic, you.
