I know someone who got stripsearched because the strapon she was wearing had metal rings holding the straps together (and someone else who had a ring through somewhere else entirely)

I knew someone (a friend of a friend) who had a guiche piercing and set off metal detectors. It wasn't too much of a bother for him, since he was the type to have no fear in SHOWING folks his piercing to everyone that mentioned it.

(All I did was say "I've never seen one of those before" and he dropped his pants. In public. During the day.)
