A flat tire, eels, and orange-eating sheep: Just another day down undah!

Jan 08, 2011 01:15

I've been procrastinating from blogging, and I realize the main reason is that I just didn't want to have to write this post, because it has the last of my car trouble detailed in it and I'm just so over talking about my car! But again, it needs to be written, so here I am. To remind you where we left off, my last known whereabouts were the ( Read more... )

Wow....see it's stories like these that make me realize that what I view as unfortunate occurrences in my life are not so bad!

I feel so sorry for you but at least you're surrounded by beauty! Keep your head up, see it all as character building haha.

Hahah, yup, it puts things into perspective, doesn't it? Not just for you, but me too! All the other little hardships just don't matter so much after you've endured bad luck like this. :p

And sure, character building... that'll do. :)

I AM mega-blogging! Another new post just went up! I want to catch up before I leave Masterton (and regular internet access) in a few days.

I considered that my insect might be a weta, but I thought they were more cave-dwellers! What was he doing in my ROOM? I'm sorry I called him gross now, because I've proclaimed to like wetas in the past (but that was when they were in caves, where they belonged). I'm really glad I did a catch-and-release with him now, since they are protected by law!

I don't remember petrol prices being crazy on the West Coast, but it's entirely possible! My $2.02/L was on the East Cape of the North Island, where there were only two servos in 200km I think! Regarding your story though, apparently they do put up signs for that in some places! :p

You always spot my broken links first, haha! I appreciate it. I've been having trouble with Photobucket saying its uploaded my pics but they get corrupted and don't tell me! I think it's because I'm on low-signal wireless.

Glad you enjoyed the post! :)

Wow, you have had a time of it with the car. Hope it's all behind you now and it's smooth riding. Gorgeous landscapes. Thanks for letting me come along to Kiwi-land.
