Mount Cook to Oamaru

On February 19th, I reluctantly left Mount Cook and headed back to the coast to Oamaru, which I had been at a few days before. My route traced several more stunning lakes. the rowing picture is absolutely breathtaking - you should send them a copy of it to use for some ad or somethin. very very nice. and the lake is gorgeous. the scenery must just take your breath away.

Funny you should mention that, because when I was looking up info on what I had been watching, they had a Photo of the Day section and I sent it in, which I hardly ever do. :)

I used to housesit for a place that had those kind of roosters! They are pretty damned big. I used to catch them to show them off to people any time they came out.

I love the photo of the stirrup and bit. The green tarnish on the bit is freaking cool!
