Steven Seagal, LAWMAN

Dec 01, 2009 01:23

Apparently Steven Seagal is not just a professional badass--he's also a Deputy Sheriff. And he has a new reality show starting December 2nd on A&E, called STEVEN SEAGAL, LAWMAN.

From what I can tell, it's kind of like COPS, starring Seagal.

I am glad I could bring a ray of ass-kicking light to your night. XD

I am also glad you did not compare JCVD or SS to Chuck Norris. Your sweet brains are much too valuable to get scrambled by a roundhouse kick. :( Though, you didn't mention mention him AT ALL and this is a crime. It may be too late for you now. *weeps*

You know, in my mind, Chuck Norris was not an action hero, he was Walker, Texas Ranger. *ducks a brain-scrambling roundhouse kick*

It wasn't until the internet made him a god that I realized his greatness. But I still haven't seen any of his movies. Just his infomercials. ^^;

Okayokayokay. Wait, something occurred to me. CAN YOU IMAGINE THE JOB INTERVIEW?

"Hello, I'm action-star martial artist Steven Seagal. Hire me or SUFFER."

Or! Seagal... AS A BUM.

"Will spare your life for food. And money."

Yeah, when Seagal shows up and demands to be the Sheriff, you kind of have to let him. I mean, he is already Above the Law, he's Hard to Kill, and he's naturally Out for Justice. Could anyone be more qualified??

He would be the only bum wearing a leather trenchcoat.

Holy crap! I need to thank caer_swan too!

He's a badass even with a paunch. "you either comply or he breaks your arm." HA!

How funny is it that this is on A & E?!

I so wish I had cable because this show looks AMAZING! It combines two things I love: Steven Seagal and COPS. How can television get any better?

LOL LOL LOL! It's just so funny to see this because I just posted a clip of it last night on my hard_to_kill comm. Yes, I maintain a Seagal comm. Leave me the hell alone.

When I was a kid, for some reason I felt like you either had to be a Seagal fan or a Van Damme fan, like a Mac vs. PC or Marvel vs. DC kind of deal for action heroes, and I was firmly in the Van Damme camp.

Oh my gosh, that is so true! I like Van Damme (Bloodsport is awesome) but I always liked Seagal more. But yes, it seemed like you could not enjoy both without feeling guilty about "kinda" liking the other one. :)
