Phishers at Gmail

This came to my gmail account, the same gmail account I've used every day forever.  It's utter bullshit.  I hope nobody is fooled by this crap.  I read somewhere that gmail would never ask for my password.  It read that it was from the Gmail team, and the email addresses were verifyaccountnss@gmail.com and verifyscesscc@incyah.com.  In the subject ( Read more... )

I've been getting a popup box asking for my password -- its a pain in the ass, cuz it logs me out!

That *is* a pain in the ass! It could be your gmail notifier if you have that installed. I've got it, and it shows me a preview of the unread messages in my inbox. If it's something else, gmail should be fixing it!

I got on the forum and learned that it's been happening to a lot of gmail users. It's ridiculous what some people will try.
