I'm reading your entries backward because I didn't get any notification for a while (my programm's fault for once ;-).

I just wanted to say that the other thing about fear is the danger of exaggerating it. Too many fearful situations are just not very believable.

you mean fictional fearful scenes? I agree- If we really want to make our hair stand on end, for example, we only have to look into our own fickle hearts! And contemplate that we can't change for the better!
