That reminds me of the following conversation I overheard today at work.
Lady picks up birth control for her teenage daughter along with a slew of other medications, and asks the pharmacist if this other medication will interfere with it. Pharmacist tells her that it depends, if her daughter's taking it for acne or her periods, she'll be okay, but if she's taking it for birth control her birth control won't be as effective. Is she using it for birth control? "Yes." (Cue me thinking "Okay, this is a cool mom.") "Okay, she'll need to use a backup method." "Oh, she's not having sex." (Cue me thinking "Okay, this is a FREAKING DUMB mom.")
