This trickery kind of bothers me. The fact that they DIDN'T show it, would make me think they didn't do anything more and that to Brennan, just that act of sleeping together was a milestone. And maybe that's a point they're trying to make? So much is made about the fact that people have SEX to make a relationship REAL that often we're lead to believe the relationship behind the sex matters very little -- hello divorce rate skyrocketing

Yeah, I didn't think they had sex (and if they did it bothers me for reasons that i'll list later) but then during the ending the looks Bones and Angela shared and Booth and Bones shared also made me wonder if indeed something more than just sleeping together happened. (also the smirk she sported when Ange questioned her.. it looks like an after-sex smirk. lol. js.)
I also think that for Brennan just sleeping in the same bed is something, or maybe they simply had a honest heart to heart due to losing Vincent and then slept in the same bed after - that would have been something for her

I don't think anything happened. She was really upset and crying in his arms, I think they just slept after that. With the looks and secret smiles, they probably just want us to think it was more than it was. Knowing how many people have been waiting for them to get together, it would be just cruel to have them sleep together and not even show it.
It was done very old school, pre-1960's style. The clues were there, but the audience had to look for them. This is the way movies and TV shows used to do "sex/making love" before the (now) graphic days of the 80s through today.
Pretty much everyone has the same response as I'm about to type. So I'm going to keep my comment short. I'd be thrilled if they did have sex. But I have a feeling it was just sleeping/cuddling. And like mysticxf said, that in Brennan's mind is a huge milestone.
I do see that Brennan is becoming open to a relationship. Least that's how I viewed her taking Booth's arm at the end of the episode. And the smile.
I'd be thrilled if they'd just let us have B&B together. If they want it to go slow, fine, go slow. But stop keeping them apart or putting them with other people. THEY"RE KILLING ME! lol.
This episode was intense and sad. I cried so much. And is anyone else confused by the fact Vincent's favorite song happens to be the one that Sweets always wants to sing at Karaoke?
I'm not really sure what the hell happened. Brennan we know is so literal that she could just mean what she said therefore nothing else happened, though the looks with Angela and with Booth in the end tells me a different thing.
I wish that if they did it, it'll be on screen at least as a flashback. It's not fair we waited for so long to have off screen and grief sex. I'm not happy with this. And I want confirmation that they did or didn't in the finale.
