I heard a great busted conversation in the Reject Shop yesterday. A mum and her 10 year old son were looking at the toys. The mum picks up a cheap recorder and ponders aloud as to whether she should buy it. She starts talking to the shop assistant who is working beside her

Though recorders are designed for hitting, we (my siblings and I) used to beat each other up with them - what else are they good for? :D

Me too! So many people got hit with my recorder. Although I did play recorder in the Opera House, it's my one musical achievement(admittedly, I actually didn't know most of the songs).
