Why can't people separate love and money?

I never thought my study abroad in Prague would bring up so many life questions...Recently, a friend (that I've known for about a month) told me I needed to get out of my relationship. Consider yourself liked.

God may not be able to make money appear in your wallet, but He can give you the confidence and motivation to find a good job that will support you.

And, my mom has been the breadwinner my whole life. No one ever said the guy needs to make the money (my uncle is actually a stay-at-home dad - he loves it!)

People fail to understand that humans will suffer more for lack of emotional needs met than lack of financial needs met. We can survive hardship when we have love to support us. But no matter how rich you are, your money will never love you or give you the human relationships you need most.
