i just finished watching the final episode of Generation Kill.  It was unbelievable and I'm really glad that HBO decided to make a mini-series about the war in Iraq. Hi! I am at cafe reading slash... rps.. ew and dom.. and reminds me of the good old days. That is what I am doing my paper on.. for graduate school.. a dissection on the literature about the women who write the slash, and then a reading group comprised of gay men who read it.. I want their opinions.. cause women.. are writing about stuff that they do... you know how when we see a good chick flick.. or read a romance.. as women.. well these stories aren't geared toward gay men, but toward other fans.. but I think it works well.. to think of gay men reading these stories.. and I want to know how well they go over, are they truthful.. are they close.. to the lived experience.. sexually and emotionally or does the gender of the writer come out? fun stuff..
