I don't rec fic all that often, for a variety of reasons that don't require going into at this juncture, but madelinestjust has just written a *honey* of Knight Rider story and if you're interested in KR fic you need to read it.

It's pre-slash gen, but it's *wonderful* gen. Most of the time gen fic distresses me in a hand-flappy, "my OTP

Weeee! Can I hire you as my agent? Or, like, bottle you for my self-esteem? Thank you for reccing my little ficlet! The summary is great - makes it sound very deep and dramatic ;) And I'm all for your OTP (now I know what it means!), I just can't handle the No Pants aspect of it!

One approach to Michael and KITT as an OTP is that they have an understanding that their primary *emotional* commitment and tie is to each other, but Michael can get his rocks off with women. I know couples who have arrangements like that and I could see that working for them--as long as Michael comes home to KITT. Hmm...taking a different approach--being committed to a shared life (and finding a shared joy in each other) *needn't* require sex, though for most people it generally does.

I'm too fuzzy headed and I get to go hike in the snow now, so I don't know that I can make that sound right. :D
