Having established last week that I have strange taste in episodes (apparently I'm the only one who likes Light My Fire a lot), I'm a little nervous to admit this week that I *really* like this episode. Jim and Blair are separated through the *entire* thing, pretty much, which sucks, but Blair never for even a second stops thinking of Jim. Not for

Add in the two of them going off alone to fish and the 'Looking for a new partner' 'No!' and I'm a happy bunny :-)

All of that is *so* wonderful and lovely. I wish there were some evidence that Jim had given a single thought for Blair...but I guess he didn't know Blair was being shot at and he kind of had other things on nis mind. But still...that's the only thing that would have made it better. Of course, that's what missing epilogues are for--Jim realizing that was in danger, both of them reassuring themselves that the other is okay...with much touching and .... mmmm...yeah!

I have to admit that upon first watching of it, it was not one of my favorites because I adore the Jim/Blair moments, but watching it a second time allowed me to see all the nuances I’d missed the first time. How lovely to see the slash even when the boys are separated. It’s a similar example to how the boys look even more gay when they throw a BoTW into the mix. *g* Separate them and you have them yearning for each other. *sigh*
~I also really liked that Blair was shown to be good with computers, but then they make him screw up Simon’s computer in...Crossroads, I think, which annoyed me.
~I enjoyed your comments, and the pretty pics. Thanks for sharing ‘em! *g*

That's definitely one of the many things to love in this episode!

That's exactly it, this is *such* a slashy episode and they're only on screen together for a couple of minutes. I love that! So...mmmm...as you say, such a wonderful yearning!

Well, alternatively, they were making Simon bad with computers. :D
Thanks so much for commenting!

This is one of my fave eps actually... good banter at the beginning, but also a little bit of back story :)

You know, I really actually like this one too - it's good! And it has Jack Kelso, whom I love.
--Oh, that green looks really good as a backdrop for him. I guess that's why they painted the loft that color.
HEE!!! OMG - I adore the idea that they pained the SET to match Richard Burgi!!!
Hrm...I swear there was something else pertinent I was going to say...but it's gone. *piff*

I also love this ep for the thousand and one fics it spawned revolving around the theme of various governmental agencies having designs on one or both guys!

between this and Lee Brackett, oh yeah!! It's not one of my favorite tropes, but sometimes a story like that just hits the spot.

Jack Kelso is a good thing in an episode--pity this is the last time we see him. ::pouts::

Well, what I'd heard is that the camera people were finding that stark-white wall from first season really hard to film against, because it did awful things to exposures and lighting and such. So they painted it. But it makes a *ton* of sense to imagine that they painted it a color that worked with their stars' coloring. Right??
