Like all the obvious shippy moments, it's open to interpretation. As shippy for us as it would have been with Lizzie, i like it with Teyla. Has the parallels of them being outcasts, and I like that Teyla brought that up; that she didn't always feel like she fitted in. And I like the whole family thing going on with everyone.
Even if it had of been with Lizzie I wouldn't have taken it as canon!shippy bc the whole ep was heavily focused on teamwork and friendship. :)
Fantastic ep! I enjoyed this WAY MORE than I thought I would. I'd give it 9/10. Only things I didn't like were Wraith glasses (bc they looked dumb), filming from Wraith POV (effects were kind of 80s cheesy imo, but the strobe lighting effect when shooting Wraith AND Ronon was very cool) and perhaps a few too many slow-mos.
The little ball thing reminded me of the one from Flash Gordon.
I really like the whole team interaction thing. More interpersonal than season 1 was imo. The fight scenes were awesome. I liked it wasn't the typical hero that saved the day. Rodney was just adorable all the way thru this ep, but his lying on the floor with his laptop was extra cute :D Liked Sateda not being another Dirty Little Village. That was refreshing. And I'm wondering what happened with the little girl (not a major plot point but it could be interesting to revisit at some point).
