I love you, and I love this story. The Harry/Draco is hot, the Draco/Neville is love, as always, and the Harry-Neville moment is so cute. I love Draco's voice in this, how arrogant he is. :)

Strange living arrangements. The house elves disappear. Harry is like a ghost. Draco and Neville. And what is going on with Harry and Draco?

The house elves disappearing was intended as a sort of metaphor for their lives going downhill. And the basic idea behind H/D in this story was that they've become dependent on each other in different ways: Harry for the place to stay that has no bad memories for him, and Draco for the relationship. Does that make any more sense?

First off - Loved It. Reading the last comment, I didn't see the house elves as a metaphor first time around but I gonna go back. What I think I liked best and what normally don't appear in fics is that your style really set a tone and atmosphere. While the pacing stayed constant and moving I got the sense of the same monotony of day in and day out. Really great work, I've just dived back into the H/D scene and am looking forward to reading more of your fics.
