she starts reading me this fanfic about Sherlock has a tumor
W-WHY WOULD YOU EVEN DO SUCH A THING
i'm trying to avoid sad!sherlock fic like it's the plague, but we all know i'll eventually read some and weep grossly into my shirt and make horrible whale-like noises because THIS IS WHAT THE SHOW DOES TO PEOPLE.
i think the least moffat could've done is buy us all a big drink.
I CANNOT EITHER. I HAVE TOO MANY FEELINGS. I CAN'T EVEN WORK ON MY THESIS BECAUSE ONE OF THE STORIES I AM USING IS THE FINAL PROBLEM. WHY, OH WHY DID I CHOOSE IT?
But I have to say, I really want to know how they are going to explain all of this. I just, I can't understand how he could have survived that fall. Just... HOW?
BUT OH MY GOD I AM SO RELIEVED THAT THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED SHERLOCK AT THE END - I WAS TERRIFIED THAT THEY WOULD JUST END IT WITH JOHN, ALL ALONE, STARING AT SHERLOCK'S GRAVE, AND THERE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ANY SIGN THAT SHERLOCK ACTUALLY IS ALIVE. BUT STILL. POOR JOHN. EVEN WHEN ALMOST EVERYONE ELSE HAD TURNED AGAINST SHERLOCK, HE DIDN'T. BECAUSE THEY ARE THE GREATEST FRIENDS THAT HAVE EVER EXISTED.
OH MY GOD THE FINAL PROBLEM DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA THE AMOUNT OF RAGE/SADNESS/TEARS/FIST-SHAKING I WENT THROUGH EVERY FUCKING TIME THEY HAD TO MENTION "THE FINAL PROBLEM". SERIOUSLY, MOFFAT, WHY SO CRUEL? D: D: D:
i knooooooooow. i mean, i know there're a lot of theories, and i guess some of them could be quite plausible, but i haven't really believed any of 'em yet. i know it's gotta do something with molly, but what, exactly? AUGH SHOW
OASKLJF;ALKFJLDKJLD "I WAS SO ALONE" ;___________________________; but also i mean, idek what anymore. i'm glad we had that visual confirmation of sherlock being alive, despite everyone knowing he didn't die but. idk idk. i'm just SO FREAKING ANGRY AT THE WORLD RIGHT NOW because jesus, john, and imagine how he'll feel when he finds out that sherlock's alive and well while john's been grieving him for years? and i know sherlock, i know why he didn't tell john, but chrissssssssssst. the mere idea of john suffering like that is just, augh augh augh, when all sherlock would have to do to make him feel so
( ... )
I DO. BECAUSE I PROBABLY WENT THROUGH THE SAME AMOUNT EVERY TIME AS WELL. SERIOUSLY, THE FIRST TIME THEY MENTIONED IT I LITERALLY SHOUTED "OH NO YOU DIDN'T!" TO MY COMPUTER. DDDDD
( ... )
ME TOOOOOOOOOOOOO. FIRST TIME IT WAS 'OH NO YOU DIDN'T'. SECOND TIME IT WAS 'FUCK YOU, MOFFAT' AND THE THIRD, FOURTH, FIFTH? SPLUTTERING AND MINDLESS RAGING. WHY KEEP REMINDING US WE ALREADY KNOW HOW IT'LL END. :( :( :( :( :(
no, i fully believe that the cyclist got hired by sherlock. and he very very briefly mentioned the rhododendron ponticum, which is a flower/poison/whatevs that can cause SLOW HEART RATE AND WATERY EYES. 'cause moffat said that something sherlock did was very out of character, and crying must've been it. and the slow heart rate? absolutely. and idk, maybe molly was the one who did the 'autopsy', as it were. also weren't there rubbis bins or something? maybe he fell on those. and it was definitely suspicious that sherlock insisted that john keep his eyes fixed on him at all times (to keep his attention away from any preparations someone might've done on the street below
