This was Version 1.0 of my attempt at a HL/SGA crossover story for hlh_shortcuts. However, the story was tending to be more of a SGA story with some HL tossed in rather than HL with some SGA tossed in. And it was making attempts to turn into a longer story than I had time for. So I stuck it in the WIP folder on the hard drive with the hopes that maybe one day ( Read more... )

Some day it may see further life. I mean, we can't leave Rodney slobbering all over Methos' pillow forever, can we? ;)

Still adore this. Hadn't seen all of it before, either. The latter section was new.

Strange naked man. Hee.

This is a lot of fun! Poor Rodney is operating at a disadvantage--he's still got all the ego, but doesn't quite remember the name to hang it on. And little does he know he's met the Snarkmaster. I can see Joe bringing out the bar speed gun to hose these two down with seltzer water when they got out of hand.

I suspect Joe could be rather intimidating to Rodney, much in the same way Jack O'Neill can be, if he set his mind to it.

OTOH, I suspect Methos finds Rodney's outspokenness and ego refreshing. :)

That is, once they figure out the guy's not got mental problems or something, what with all the "I'm in the wrong year on the wrong planet" talk. ;)

Oh my goodness. That was so funny! I loved the characterzations. I laughed so hard when Joe accused Methos of lying when he explained how he came across Rodney. I most definitely would not be opposed to seeing more of this.

Oh, the thought of Methos having to deal with an amnesiac Rodney McKay is wonderful. *glee*
